UPI's New Milestone: 11 Billion Mark For Second Month In A Row

In a recent development, digital payments through the United Payments Interface (UPI) have exceeded 11 billion transactions for the second consecutive month. According to data released by the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI), November witnessed 1,124 crore UPI transactions, slightly lower than October's 1,141 crore but marking a substantial 54% increase from November 2022.

Byju's Great Fall: Valuation Decline, BCCI Legal Feud & ED Notice Stand

The tough period for edtech behemoth Byju's continues as now it is grappling with a barrage of new challenges, including a valuation downgrade by tech investor Prosus and a legal battle with the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) over pending dues. The issue over notice from the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on FEMA violations is also going on. In the midst of the storm, a spokesperson for Byju's told TICE News that company is commited to regulatory compliance and confident of successfully dealing with the case.

Venture Capital Funding in Indian Startups Hits 6-Year Low: Report

Indicating a challenging time for the Indian startup ecosystem, Venture Capital (VC) funding plummeted to a six-year low in November 2023. Data released by Venture Intelligence on December 1 revealed that Indian startups secured a mere USD 223 million in funding across 35 deals.
