Hyperface Founder Ramanathan RV on AI Growth

Ramanathan RV, Co-Founder & CEO of Hyperface, emphasized the significant growth and impact of AI in today's world. He highlighted the remarkable increase in digital transactions facilitated by UPI, which now handles 300 million transactions daily, a figure that was not even reached in a month a decade ago. Ramanathan explained that AI is particularly effective in addressing problems when there is access to vast amounts of data. 

"Today UPI does 300 million transactions a day which was not 300 million transactions even in a month ten years ago. When we talk about AI, there is a class of problems that can be solved when we have access to data," CEO of Hyperface said.

Deleep Murali, founder of Z Score, emphasized the importance of taking control of AI technologies in the health insurance industry. He believes investing in AI domestically is essential at this early stage of AI evolution. Z Score has built a strong data layer and utilizes AI to provide real-time insights for Hospital Pricing, Fraud Detection, ICR Health, and Customer Analysis, seamlessly integrating with existing data pipelines.

"We have built a strong module for health insurance. These L1 technologies are not in our control, it's our responsibility to take L1 technologies under our control. We are at the very early stage of the evolution of AI. It is important for us to invest in AI domestically, we have the market and we have to develop the expertise. We have built a data layer and on top of that, we have built AI. ZScore gives Real-Time Data for Hospital Bills. ZScore gives AI-driven real-time feeds for Hospital Pricing, Frauds, ICR Health, Customer Analysis, etc. Z score has a simple integration with existing data pipelines," Founder of Z Score, Deleep Murlai mentioned.

Mukesh Mhatre, founder of Nuverse, explained their AI technology that detects vital parameters from a selfie taken on a mobile phone within a minute. The technology, offered as an SDK, has versatile applications in underwriting, dynamic underwriting, wellness programs, risk management, claims processing, and customer engagement.

"Detects the vital parameters looking at the selfie. This technology works on mobile phones, this comes as an SDK. It takes about a minute to extract all the health vitals. It can be used for underwriting, dynamic underwriting, wellness programs, risk management, claims processing, and customer engagement," Mukesh Mahatre the founder of Nuverse explained.
