Showcasing the transformation that the Indian tech-startups have undergone in the past few years, the Digital Acceleration and Transformation Expo (DATE) 2023 witnessed its grand inauguration at Yashobhoomi (IICC Dwarka) on November 23rd-24th. The event, organized by Trescon, brought together global tech leaders, innovators, and entrepreneurs to explore and contribute to India's vision of becoming a global innovation hub.

Finance Minister, Nirmala Sitharaman, and Minister of State for Electronics and Information Technology, Rajeev Chandrasekhar, graced the occasion alongside esteemed personalities such as South Bengaluru MP Tejasvi Surya, Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chamaraja Wadiyar, Maharaja of Mysore & Chairman of Cyberverse Foundation, and Maharaj Saheb Mandhatasinh Jadeja of Rajkot. Rajeev Chandrasekhar, the Minister of State for Electronics and Information Technology, discussed India's remarkable growth as the fastest-growing digital economy. Emphasizing the importance of Artificial Intelligence (AI), he envisioned AI as a kinetic enabler for the digital and innovation economy, emphasizing the paramount need for safety and trust in these platforms.

”While we envision AI to become a kinetic enabler and accelerant for our digital economy and innovation economy, safety and trust in these platforms remain paramount,” he said.

Another engaging fireside chat, 'Confessions of a Startup Founder,' provided candid insights into the entrepreneurial journey, featuring Swati Bhargava, Co-Founder of CashKaro and EarnKaro, and Reshma Budhia, Director & Co-Founder of Toss The Coin.

Naveen Bharadwaj highlighted DATE's commitment to social impact, youth empowerment, and real investments. Initiatives like the Women in Media Council, Smart 1,000, Cyber Safe Girl, and Future of Tech were launched, emphasizing the holistic approach of the expo.

With robots on stage, captivating presentations, and live gaming competitions featuring India's most prominent international gamer Mavi, DATE set a new standard for tech events.
