In an endeavor to provide targeted support to women entrepreneurs across India, Startup India has launched its initiative, "Women for Startups: State Workshops." 

This initiative aims to empower existing and aspiring women entrepreneurs by equipping them with the necessary knowledge and skills to excel in the startup ecosystem. 

In collaboration with Startup Madhya Pradesh and the Government of Madhya Pradesh, the Madhya Pradesh edition of Women for Startups is set to create a lasting impact on the entrepreneurial landscape.

What is Women for Startups - Madhya Pradesh Edition?

The Women for Startups - Madhya Pradesh edition is a comprehensive two-day physical workshop that offers an array of valuable sessions, enabling participants to make the most out of their entrepreneurial journey. 

The workshop will delve into various aspects of the startup ecosystem, featuring engaging activities such as experience sharing, capacity building, and pitching sessions. Additionally, participants will gain access to a pre-workshop virtual training session, focusing specifically on effective pitching techniques when approaching investors and other key stakeholders.

To ensure that the Women Startup Workshop caters to the specific needs of women entrepreneurs, Startup India has designed the program with relevant stakeholders in mind. The workshops welcome the following individuals and entities:

Procedure Post Submission:

Upon submission of the workshop application, all participants will receive further communication regarding the necessary details. In addition to attending the workshop, the applicants interested in pitching their ideas will have the opportunity to present them to potential investors and other ecosystem stakeholders. 

The applications for pitching will be evaluated, and the shortlisted candidates will be notified accordingly.

Eligibility Criteria for Participation

If you meet any of the following criteria, you are eligible to participate in the capacity-building sessions and mock pitching session:

Capacity Building Sessions:

• DPIIT Recognized startups with at least one woman founder from Madhya Pradesh.
• Aspiring women entrepreneurs looking to establish their own startup from Madhya Pradesh.

Mock Pitching Session:

• DPIIT Recognized startups with at least one woman founder from Madhya Pradesh.
