The Land Accelerator South Asia program is a game-changer in fostering an entrepreneurial ecosystem that nurtures innovative landscape entrepreneurs. In a joint effort, the World Resources Institute India (WRI India) and Sangam Ventures are proudly hosting the Land Accelerator South Asia from July to December 2023. This initiative is set to empower a cohort of 30 entrepreneurs from across South Asia through a combination of in-person and virtual capacity-building and training sessions.

What Is Land Accelerator South Asia Program?

The Land Accelerator South Asia program offers a comprehensive set of benefits to selected entrepreneurs. After an initial 2-month period, where all participants will receive invaluable training, mentorship, and networking opportunities, 15 exceptional entrepreneurs will be chosen for additional support.

These top 15 startups will gain access to further training, mentoring, and the opportunity to pitch their ventures to impact investors. Moreover, upon successful completion of the program, each of these startups will receive innovation support of $3,000, further fueling their growth and impact.

Eligibility Criteria For Land Accelerator South Asia

The program is open to entrepreneurs who are working towards improving agrarian, farm, or forest landscapes through innovative business approaches. This includes initiatives focused on sustainable climate-smart agriculture and forestry, reforestation, non-timber forest produce (NTFP), and similar activities.

Applicants must fall into one of the following stages: Minimum Viable Product, Early Traction, or Scaling. If you have a passion for land restoration and a vision to make a positive impact, this program is for you.

The applications for the Land Accelerator South Asia program are open till June 30, 2023. The applications will be evaluated between July 1 - July 21, 2023. The evaluation process will take place during this period, and the results will be announced on July 25, 2023.
