"When we started, one of the core reasons was that we discovered that there is just no healthcare information in Indian languages," says Garg.

MyUpchar has created the largest repository of health content in Indian languages, covering over 6,000 diseases, medicines, tests, and surgical procedures. The platform's commitment to quality ensures that all content is developed and vetted by qualified doctors, ensuring accuracy and reliability.

Combating Misinformation with Doctor-Verified Content

In a digital age where misinformation can spread rapidly, MyUpchar stands out for its rigorous approach to content creation.

"All our content is developed by doctors themselves or in their presence," Garg emphasizes.

"For common people, those things [foreign treatments] are not happening," says Garg, emphasizing the role of MyUpchar in providing accessible healthcare solutions within India.

MyUpchar utilizes AI, not for content creation, but for content optimization.

"We are using AI to understand different topics better, what we should write about better, how we should structure our content better," Garg explains. 

This approach ensures that AI is used ethically and responsibly, enhancing the user experience without compromising the quality and credibility of the content.

MyUpchar has ambitious plans for the future, aiming to expand its services and reach.

 "We will keep creating health content in different languages. We will keep, you know, expanding on the treatments that we do," Garg states.

The platform aims to increase its specialties from 30 to 200, further broadening its healthcare offerings.

Advice for Aspiring Entrepreneurs

As a serial entrepreneur, Garg offers valuable advice for those venturing into the startup world. He emphasizes persistence, passion for the problem being solved, and the importance of building the right team.

"It's persistence or your perseverance, you have to keep at it," Garg advises.

Regarding the ethical use of AI, Garg encourages a focus on customer service.

"I think what we should really be focused on is how to leverage AI in a way that actually serves the customer," he says.
