At Asia’s largest technology and digital forum, the India Mobile Congress (IMC) 2025, India’s burgeoning startup ecosystem took center stage as the Software Technology Parks of India (STPI) showcased some of its most promising innovations. With the theme “Innovate to Transform”, IMC 2025 is a celebration of the country’s journey into deep tech, digital infrastructure, and frontier technologies—highlighting how India is rapidly emerging as a global hub for innovation.
STPI’s presence at the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) pavilion in Hall No. 1 (Booths B2, B6–7) brought together startups nurtured under its Centres of Entrepreneurship (CoEs) and Next Generation Incubation Scheme (NGIS). The showcase spanned sectors including Artificial Intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), Blockchain, Cybersecurity, FinTech, AgriTech, Data Analytics, and smart mapping solutions, giving visitors a firsthand look at India’s technological ingenuity.
India’s rise in deep tech innovation
Speaking on the occasion, Shri Arvind Kumar, Director General of STPI, said, “India has become a global hub for deep tech and digital innovation, with STPI driving advancements in frontier technologies such as AI, blockchain, IoT, and quantum computing. Digital connectivity is no longer a privilege; it is integral to the growth, inclusion, and empowerment of every Indian. Through our initiatives, we aim to connect startups with industry leaders, strengthen digital infrastructure, and sustain India’s momentum in the global digital economy, in line with IMC 2025’s theme, ‘Innovate to Transform.’”
