The Startup Club of India: Giving Voice to 1.8 Lakh+ Bharat Startups

India’s startup ecosystem is booming, yet many early-stage entrepreneurs—especially from Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities—continue to face a significant challenge: lack of visibility. While some startups bask in media limelight, countless others—solving real problems in healthcare, agritech, clean energy, AI, and manufacturing—remain unseen and unheard.

To bridge this gap, TICE, in collaboration with the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), has launched a first-of-its-kind initiative The Startup Club of India.

This isn’t just a platform. It’s a movement to empower DPIIT-recognised startups by giving them a voice, visibility, and a direct link to investors, policymakers, and the national stage.

Why ‘The Startup Club of India’ Is a Game-Changer

Under a strategic MoU signed on July 29, 2025, DPIIT and TICE have joined hands to spotlight every DPIIT-registered startup across India. This initiative ensures that the real innovators of Bharat finally get the attention and support they deserve—not just in Delhi or Bengaluru, but in cities like Indore, Bhubaneswar, Surat, and Guwahati.

With over 1.8 lakh registered startups, India is the third-largest startup ecosystem in the world. Yet mainstream media often highlights only a select few, ignoring the grassroots innovators who are building solutions with passion but limited resources.

The Startup Club of India aims to change this narrative. It enables founders to share their own stories, showcase their work, and inspire others. This is storytelling by startups, for startups—a true bottom-up media movement.

“During Startup Mahakumbh 2025, we met hundreds of entrepreneurs at the TICE booth. Most were looking for affordable media and PR solutions. Many told us that mainstream media ignores small startups unless paid. That’s when the idea for The Startup Club of India germinated. We wanted to solve this problem. With support from DPIIT, we now have a platform that delivers on the promises of our MoU—and this is just the beginning.”
