Garuda Aerospace Gears Up for IPO

Further solidifying its ambitions, Garuda Aerospace, backed by cricket legend Mahendra Singh Dhoni, has plans for an initial public offering (IPO) within the next 6-8 months.

Leading the Drone Industry

Founded in 2015, Garuda Aerospace has become a frontrunner in B2B drone solutions. The company boasts an impressive fleet of over 400 drones and 500 pilots operating across 84 cities. They are actively developing cutting-edge drone solutions for the armed forces in collaboration with global defense and aerospace giants.

Garuda Aerospace holds a dominant 50% market share in the precision agriculture drone market and owns a significant 20% of all registered drones in India.

The company has secured approvals from the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) for manufacturing small and medium-category drones and pilot training. Their services span over 400 districts, with major contracts secured with corporations like Larsen & Toubro (L&T), Godrej, Reliance, and Cipla.

Exponential Growth and Market Demand

Garuda Aerospace projects a staggering turnover of Rs 120 crore to Rs 150 crore for the current fiscal year, a significant leap from Rs 47 crore last year. The company has garnered over 300 clients for its diverse drone services.

Jayaprakash emphasizes the growing interest from corporations seeking to leverage drones for enhanced efficiency and cost reduction, especially post-pandemic. He highlights the rising demand for drones in defense due to their prominent role in recent conflicts, alongside the surging interest in agriculture, fueled by government subsidies.

Taking Off to New Horizons

Garuda Aerospace's pioneering showroom and strategic expansion plans mark a significant milestone in mainstreaming drone technology in India. With an upcoming IPO and continued financial growth, the company is well-positioned to revolutionize various industries through their advanced drone solutions.
