Can AI Make Corporate Commutes Safer? This Indian Startup Thinks So

In a world increasingly concerned about road safety and smart mobility, one Indian deep-tech company is quietly but rapidly reshaping how fleets operate globally. Bengaluru-based Netradyne, a pioneer in AI-powered fleet and driver safety solutions, has emerged as a key player on the global stage — with its footprint now set to reach 15 countries by 2026.

From being a promising startup to becoming a unicorn valued at $1.34 billion, Netradyne’s journey is emblematic of the rise of India’s deep-tech innovation. With its core R&D operations anchored in India, the company is not only developing cutting-edge AI solutions but is also exporting trust, safety, and operational excellence to roads around the world.

And now, in a significant partnership that strengthens its presence in India’s corporate transportation sector, Eminent Transit, a major player in employee and corporate travel services, has adopted Netradyne’s AI-backed Driver•i fleet safety system — aiming to provide safer, smarter, and more comfortable journeys for thousands of daily commuters.

Going Global: From India to the World

Netradyne already operates in 10 countries, including the US, Canada, Mexico, Germany, UK, Belgium, Netherlands, Australia, New Zealand, and India. The company has now set its sights on Japan and Spain by the end of 2025, followed by Ireland, France, and Italy by the end of 2026.

“We are scaling efficiently by expanding to global markets where road safety is a growing concern,” said Durgadutt Nedungadi, Senior Vice President – EMEA and APAC at Netradyne. “We’re building global impact from our Indian R&D center, and that is a testament to the strength of deep-tech innovation coming out of India.”

Netradyne has over 650 team members in India, contributing to a global workforce of 850+. Its offices in Bangalore, San Diego (Headquarters), and San Francisco serve as command centers for innovation and international operations.

Eminent Transit Partnership: Prioritizing Passenger Safety

The collaboration with Eminent Transit marks a strategic step for Netradyne in tapping into India’s booming corporate mobility sector. Operating across 160 cities and serving over 70 corporates, Eminent Transit is known for offering executive-class transport services tailored for employees — including women traveling during odd hours.

By integrating Netradyne’s Driver•i technology across its fleet, Eminent aims to set a new benchmark for safety, reliability, and comfort.

“Deployment of Netradyne’s Driver•i not only elevates the safety and efficiency of our transportation services but also provides essential protection for women employees traveling late at night,” said Ravi Kiran, CEO of Eminent Transit.

Driver•i is a next-gen fleet camera system that uses AI and computer vision to analyze 100% of driving time, identifying unsafe driving behavior and offering real-time alerts to improve performance. This not only enhances passenger safety but also aids fleet managers in maintaining consistent standards across large operations.

AI That Saves Lives: What Makes Netradyne Different

Unlike traditional dashcams or GPS-based tracking systems, Netradyne’s technology takes a proactive approach to road safety. It monitors driving patterns, detects drowsiness, distraction, and harsh driving events, and offers real-time feedback to drivers.

This technology is now trusted by over 3,000 companies worldwide, installed in 450,000 vehicles, and adopted by more than 70 Indian organisations, including Shell, Indian Oil Skytanking, Writer Safeguard, and Greenline.

“From reducing accidents to improving driver behavior, our solutions are helping businesses run safer fleets. The collaboration with Eminent Transit is about creating new benchmarks in corporate mobility,” added Nedungadi.

Netradyne Collaboration with the Government

Netradyne isn’t just working with private players. It is also collaborating with government bodies such as NITI Aayog and the Ministry of Road Transport on policies and pilot projects around areas like driver drowsiness detection and tech-driven road safety programs.

These initiatives are aligned with India’s growing focus on reducing road accidents and building a tech-enabled mobility future — making Netradyne a key contributor to national goals, even as it expands globally.

With its strong global vision, backed by robust Indian engineering, Netradyne is already proving that “Made in India” tech can lead on the world stage — especially in sectors where innovation can directly impact lives.

From corporate employee transport to cross-country logistics fleets, the demand for smart safety solutions is only expected to grow. And Netradyne, with its Series D funding of $90 million, is investing aggressively in product development, market expansion, and partnerships like the one with Eminent Transit.

As the world reimagines mobility with safety at the center, Netradyne is not just following the curve — it’s helping shape it.
