Technology solutions firm Raminfo Limited has secured a government contract worth approximately ₹14.14 crore from the Directorate of Information Technology, Government of Tripura. Under this agreement, the company will design, build, and maintain UNNOTI, a unified digital platform for the delivery of citizen services.
The initiative comes under the Tripura Rural Economic Growth & Service Delivery Project (TRESP), a state-level push to improve governance and service accessibility through digital transformation.
Raminfo Funding
The UNNOTI platform is aimed at simplifying and speeding up access to public services by bringing more than 60 state government departments and 300+ welfare schemes onto a single digital interface. The platform is expected to directly benefit around 41 lakh citizens by reducing bureaucratic layers and enhancing service efficiency.
The project is designed to improve coordination between departments, ensure quicker processing, and bring transparency to various welfare delivery mechanisms. Officials say it reflects the Tripura government’s broader agenda of improving the "Ease of Living" for its residents, particularly in rural and remote areas.
Built on the “Ask Data Once” Model
A core feature of the platform will be its “Ask Data Once” principle—ensuring that citizens do not have to repeatedly submit the same personal or official information across departments. This is expected to eliminate redundant paperwork and reduce service delays.
The solution will include:
-
A citizen portal for direct access to services
-
A mobile application for on-the-go usage
-
Service dashboards for departmental monitoring and data analytics
These digital touchpoints are aimed at making public service access more citizen-centric, intuitive, and transparent.
Raminfo’s Role and Technical Scope
As the system integrator, Raminfo will be responsible for the end-to-end development, integration, deployment, and maintenance of the platform. The contract also includes a 26-month post-deployment support period, ensuring system stability and continued optimisation.
The company is expected to leverage technologies such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, analytics, and Internet of Things (IoT) to make the platform adaptive and responsive to evolving citizen needs. The use of analytics is also intended to help departments make data-backed policy decisions.
Strategic Push for Digital Governance in Northeast
This contract is seen as a strategic step in expanding digital governance infrastructure in the Northeastern region, where accessibility remains a challenge. The project underlines the growing demand for scalable and inclusive digital platforms that can manage complex, multi-department service delivery in developing states.
For Tripura, UNNOTI is expected to play a critical role in enhancing last-mile connectivity of welfare schemes, boosting administrative efficiency, and supporting rural economic development goals under TRESP.
Broader Context: E-Governance Momentum
Raminfo Limited, which is listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE: 530951), has a track record of working on public sector digital transformation projects for nearly three decades. The company operates across various verticals, including e-governance, smart lighting, fintech, telemedicine, education, and agro-logistics.
The company has also been aligning itself with newer technologies such as AI and data analytics to build integrated tech solutions for government clients. While Raminfo has a strong presence in Southern and Central India, this project further expands its footprint in the Northeastern region.
With this initiative, Tripura joins the list of Indian states making substantial investments in digital governance to improve citizen experience. As digital public infrastructure becomes a focus area in state-level planning, projects like UNNOTI signal the shift towards data-led, user-friendly public service delivery models.
Deployment work on the UNNOTI platform is expected to begin shortly, with phased integration of departments and schemes planned over the next several months.
