Ashneer Grover, B V R Reddy key guests at IIT Kanpur E-Summit

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur, has announced an exciting lineup of experts and seasoned entrepreneurs who will impart knowledge on entrepreneurship and business, as the institute gears up for

the 11th edition of its annual Entrepreneurial festival - "E-SUMMIT" from 13th-15th January, 2023. 

The event, being hosted by the student-run Entrepreneurship Cell from IIT Kanpur, echoes the continuum effort by the institute to provide a platform to stimulate discussions on ideas that turn issues into opportunities to revolutionize

society. 

Padma Shri B. V. R. Mohan Reddy, Founder Chairman & Board Member-Cyient, will grace as the Chief Guest for the Inaugural Ceremony; while former Co-founder & MD of BharatPe, Ashneer Grover, will be the Chief Guest for the Closing

Ceremony. 

E-Summit’22 strives to be the one-stop platform for bringing together everyone associated with the entrepreneurial ecosystem - ideators, pitchers, VCs, mentors, and enthusiasts; all under one roof for empowering ideas that have the potential to play a key role in shaping the future of the country. 

The theme for the much-awaited event this year is - Renaissance and Rise. As the Chief Guest of the Inaugural Session of E'Summit’22, Dr. B. V. R. Mohan Reddy will be delivering a keynote address, sharing his insights and experiences

with the attendees. Dr. Reddy is also the Chairperson, Board of Governors, IIT Hyderabad & IIT Roorkee. 

His vast expertise in the entrepreneurial domain would inspire and motivate attendees to pursue their own entrepreneurial dreams. Prof. Abhay Karandikar, Director IIT Kanpur said, “We’re glad to be hosting

As the Chief Guest for the Closing Ceremony on 15 Jan, Former co-founder & MD of BharatPe, and Shark Tank fame, Ashneer Grover will share valuable advice to aspiring entrepreneurs. The attendees will get a chance to closely interact and seek answers to pertinent queries.

Talk sessions under E-Summit’22 are designed to educate and inspire young budding entrepreneurs, to take the leap of faith, and start their own startups. With workshops such as - How to onboard your first 100 customers, Mint your first NFT, Network makes your Net-worth, Ad-Venture, and hands-on training sessions by esteemed mentors lined up, E-Summit’22 will offer a platform to hone creative, innovative, and feasible ideas/solutions relating to day-to-day problems.

E-Summit’22 will also host the grand finale of the UpStart business model competition, which is a core component of the Summit; along with a Startup Expo with participation from startups, investors, speakers, organizations, from all over

India. The event will see brightest minds competing against each other to grab a chance to network with the best of the best, earn equity-less-funding and incubation opportunities and also winning rewards along the way.
