The Tech startups in the Guwahati region are set to gain access to startup toolkit, discounted services, resources, mentorship opportunities, market linkages, pitching support, networking events, and acceleration programs. 

All this will happen as the Alliance of Digital India Foundation (ADIF) and the IIT Guwahati Technology Incubation Centre (IIT Guwahati TIC) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at bolstering entrepreneurship and providing crucial support to technology startups in the region.

"We are excited to partner with the prestigious IIT Guwahati, Technology Incubation Centre to empower early-stage startups through our combined resources and networks," expressed Prateek Jain, Associate Director at ADIF. "This collaboration underscores our shared vision of catalyzing India's entrepreneurial ecosystem."

Mutual Support for Startups

Under the terms of the agreement, ADIF will extend alliance membership to startups in the portfolio of IIT Guwahati TIC, granting them access to a wide array of benefits. These include ADIF's startup toolkit offering discounted services, valuable resources, and mentorship opportunities.

Conversely, IIT Guwahati TIC will reciprocate by providing assistance to ADIF members, offering mentorship, facilitating market linkages, providing pitching support, organizing networking events, and enabling participation in acceleration programs.

Collaborative Initiatives

Both parties have committed to joint efforts in organizing various activities aimed at fostering entrepreneurship. These include startup courses, workshops, hackathons, and research initiatives engaging students, faculty, and entrepreneurs alike.

Prof. G. Krishnamoorthy, president of the council of management at IIT Guwahati TIC, said, "IIT Guwahati Technology Incubation Centre is delighted to join hands with ADIF to create a more conducive environment for our brightest minds to transform their innovations into successful businesses specially in the North East India...We look forward to nurturing entrepreneurship through this synergistic partnership."
