The visionary initiative, Viksit Bharat @2047, outlines a comprehensive vision for India's development by its centennial year of independence. It envisions progress across various dimensions, including economic growth, social progress, environmental sustainability, and good governance. Prime Minister Modi emphasized the pivotal role of educational institutions and individuals in achieving this goal, drawing parallels with the historical freedom struggle that united the nation toward a common objective.

How Can You Participate?

Prime Minister Modi, addressing Vice Chancellors, Heads of Institutes, and faculty members during workshops organized at Raj Bhawans across the country, urged citizens, especially the youth, to actively participate in Viksit Bharat @2047.

He emphasized the need for collective efforts, “The roadmap of progress will not be decided by the government alone but by the nation. Viksit Bharat has to be built only through Sabka Prayas.”

The Prime Minister highlighted the power of public participation, citing successful campaigns like Swachh Bharat Abhiyan and Digital India.

Mobilizing Youth Power

During his address, Prime Minister Modi invoked the spirit of the freedom struggle, emphasizing the need for every individual and institution to align their efforts with the singular goal of a Developed India. He called on the educational fraternity to explore ways of accelerating India's development, identifying specific sectors for improvement.

“When citizens, in whatever role, start doing their duty, the country moves forward,” he urged citizens to go beyond their roles and contribute to national development actively.

Recognizing the youth as both the agents and beneficiaries of change, Prime Minister Modi encouraged the students and young citizens to contribute their ideas through the newly launched Ideas Portal related to Viksit Bharat. He announced prizes for the best suggestions and emphasized the importance of incorporating vocational skills along with academic qualifications.

The Exam Date for a Developed India

Drawing an analogy to an examination, Prime Minister Modi declared, “We have 25 years of Amrit Kaal in front of us. We have to work 24 hours a day for the goal of Viksit Bharat. This is the environment we have to create as a family.”

He underscored the need for sustained dedication, preparation, and a collective commitment to achieve the ambitious vision of a developed India by 2047.

Sabka Prayas: The Mantra for Success

Prime Minister Modi reiterated the inclusive nature of Viksit Bharat's progress. He stressed that every citizen has a role to play in shaping the nation's future and that public participation is the key to success.
