During the Startup India Innovation Week, Union Minister of Commerce & Industry, Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, and Textiles Piyush Goyal, led a unicorn roundtable aimed at celebrating the growth of unicorns in India and strategizing for the future. The event, attended by 40 leading unicorns, emphasized the importance of collaboration to support the growth of more unicorns within the nation's startup ecosystem.

One notable launch during the week was 'StartupShala' - Startup India's Accelerator Program. This 3-month accelerator program is designed to provide early-stage startups with access to knowledge, network, funds, and guidance essential for scaling up. The program will focus on specific sectors, with the inaugural cohort focusing on CleanTech. Interested startups can apply through the Startup India Hub.
