What Is The Lawsuit Against Elon Musk?

The logo change came after Musk appealed to a US judge to dismiss a $258 billion racketeering lawsuit. The lawsuit accuses Musk of operating a pyramid scheme to support Dogecoin, which he has promoted heavily on Twitter.

Multiple lawsuits have been filed in response to Musk's tweets on the platform, which he owns. Investors have accused him of deliberately inflating Dogecoin's price by over 36,000% in two years and then allowing it to crash.

Musk's Lawyers Respond

In response to the allegations, Musk's lawyers argued that the investors had failed to explain how he intended to defraud anyone or what risks he had hidden. They also claimed that Musk's statements about Dogecoin were too vague to support a fraud claim.

Dogecoin's Price Surges

Despite the legal battles, Dogecoin's price surged by up to 20% after Twitter used the token's mascot as its logo. The price of the meme coin rose to $0.092, its highest in over a month. On Tuesday morning, the price showed a surge of over 25.49%, with the last traded price at Rs 8.2143.
